Fire crews responded to a car fire in the parking lot of Raceway Tire in Knoxville on Thursday.

Crews were dispatched just before 7:00 pm to Raceway Tire for a report of a car tire on fire in the parking lot. Knoxville Deputy Fire Chief Trenton Bacus tells KNIA/KRLS that there was a vehicle coming in to be serviced that caught fire in the parking lot and it sustained heavy fire damage. There was also another vehicle that sustained minor damage and no injuries were reported.
