PCM’s Allie Minteer and Pleasantville’s Addie Koenig will compete at the IGHSAU State Championships at Xtreme Arena in Coralville starting today.

Minteer will compete in the Class 1A 110 pound bracket as the 15 seed and will take on Kiersten Swart of Mount Vernon in her first round match. Minteer currently carries a 26-9 record as Swart sits at 47-4 on the season. 

Koenig will compete in the Class 1A 145 pound bracket as a 14 seed and will take on Kenzie Maeder of Southwest Valley in her first match. Koenig is 30-14 on the season while Maeder holds a 48-3 record. 

Session one of the first day of the two-day girls state wrestling tournament will start at 10:00 am today and KNIA/KRLS will have live updates throughout both days of the tournament. For a complete look at the 1A bracket you can visit this link.
