Three PCM student athletes signed letters of intent to continue their football and educational careers with Grand View University on Wednesday.

Seniors Chase Wagaman, Shay Burns, and Dominic Witt signed their letters at PCM High School Wednesday afternoon. Wagaman was the starting quarterback for the Mustangs this past season throwing for 1,598 yards and 19 touchdowns while rushing for 337 yards and nine touchdowns. Burns battled injuries last season but was still a contributor when healthy and was also a major contributor two years ago on the team that made the state semifinals. Witt was one of the best kickers in the state last season and has been a four year starter for the Mustangs. This past season Witt had 65 touchbacks, was 52/53 on PAT’s and was 5/5 on field goals. All three are multi-sport athletes for the Mustangs.

Wagaman tells KNIA/KRLS that going to play for a program as successful as Grand View will be an opportunity to further strengthen his abilities on the field.

“You know the coaching staff is great. After winning a couple of titles you know you are going to progress well with your abilities, you are going to get better each day, you’re going to put in the work, and that is all part of what makes football great.”

Grand View is coming off a NAIA National Title in 2025 and has now won back to back National Titles. They are coached by EJ Peterson who is a graduate of PCM High School. Hear from all three players on an upcoming Lely Radio Sports Page segment.
