Weekly chess hour has returned to the Knoxville Public Library.
The event is held every Wednesday at the library in February from 3:45 pm – 5:00 pm and is for kids in third-sixth grade. Adult Services Librarian Cari Meissner says it is a great opportunity for kids who have never played before or for those who are experienced players.
“It’s going to be a great chance for those players no matter how familiar they are with the rules of chess, whether they’ve had a lot of practice or no practice, come on in and learn some rules as it is a great time for kids to hangout.”
The library is located at 213 E Montgomery St.
