This afternoon, the Indianola Community School District and the Indianola Police Department were made aware of a report involving a high school student who had a pocket knife in a high school restroom. The matter was reported by students to school administration and the School Resource Officer.

The high school administration, School Resource Officers and the Indianola Police Department have investigated the situation. At this time there is no threat to Indianola Community School District students, staff or the Indianola Community.
