The Pella and Pella Christian Large Group speech teams both have several acts advancing to the Iowa High School Speech Association state contest this weekend. The Dutch earned 13 “one” ratings and Pella Christian had nine of ten acts earn “I” scores as well. The state speech contest will be held at Clear Creek Amana High School on Saturday. Students will compete for the opportunity to earn “All-State” distinction.
