U.S. Representative Mariannette Miller-Meeks was in Pella at The Bread Board to discuss new tax provisions passed in the reconciliation bill passed last summer.
During the event, Miller-Meeks highlighted new senior tax deductions, which provide up to $6,000 in tax relief for single filers and $12,000 for married couples filing jointly.
She also discussed the extension of previous cuts that were made permanent. Miller-Meeks was introduced by State Senator Ken Rozenboom prior to speaking, and was asked at the end about the TrumpRX program.
