The Marion County Board of Supervisors will consider a 28E project agreement with the City of Knoxville for the Knoxville Area Pavement Rehabilitation Project at their regular session meeting Tuesday.

The board recently approved $1 Million in local option sales tax funds for the project which will include a $360,000 investment from the City of Knoxville and be for overlay of three areas of road in the Knoxville area. The board will also hold a public hearing and consider a zoning map ordinance, consider a joint agreement with the City of Pella for an amendment to the Lely urban renewal plan, hold discussion regarding the courthouse breakroom, consider a compensation board FY27 recommendation, and hear the treasurer’s semi-annual report. The meeting will close with the board authorizing bids and setting a public hearing date for the Junction 92 project.

Tuesday’s Marion County Board of Supervisors meeting will take place at 9:00 am at the County North Annex.
