The Knoxville Boys Basketball Squad defeated Oskaloosa 73-56 on Monday while the girls struggled in a 50-14 defeat both games heard live on 95.3 KNIA. The boys took control with a 10-0 run in the 2nd quarter to go up 26-16 and never trailed by less than 11 the rest of the way. Lincoln Norris was spectacular scoring 39 points. The Indians made multiple runs at Knoxville in the 2nd half, but the Panthers would always respond with a run of their own. Jack Reed scored 11 for a 2nd Panther in double figures. The girls tderailed just 20-9 at halftime, but were outscored 30-5 in the 2nd half. Addi Williams scored five points to lead Knoxville. The boys are 16-3 while the girls are 0-20. The boys will welcome PCM tonight while the girls will host Bondurant-Farrar on Thursday.
