The Knoxville School Board confirmed Kyle Pepper as the new football coach in their meeting on Monday. Pepper had been the offensive coordinator for the Panthers for the last three seasons and was elevated to the head coach’s role. Pepper, a Central College grad, takes over a program that went 1-8 last fall. Pepper tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he wants to be more competitive and that starts in the offseason by getting into the weight room. Knoxville’s season opener will be August 28th against Centerville.
