Iowa State University Extension and Outreach in Marion County is bringing back their Field to Fork Webinar series starting February 18th.

The webinar series, which is a partnership with North Dakota State University, will be shown every Tuesday from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm at the Marion County Extension Office. These weekly webinars will last until April 15th and include topics such as new vegetable varieties, food preservation, garden myths, edible plant parts, home canning, soil health, and more. Pre-registration is required and attendees can do so by calling the extension office at 641-842-2014. Lydia McCombs with Marion County Extension says this is a good time to start making your gardening plans.

“This is a great time to learn about it. You’re sitting at home and it’s cold and you can sit inside and we have lots of webinars that people can come to and learn about gardening as they prepare for their gardening season because now is the time to plan it.”
