The late Paula Chew was awarded the annual Chamber Champion of Excellence Award at last week’s Indianola City Chamber of Commerce Celebration. Her children accepted the award on her behalf. Director of Chamber Experience Haley Swanson says the award is given each year for their service to the area.

“So the Chamber Champion of Excellence Award is an award for a chamber champion who goes above and beyond for the chamber and our community, people that want to get engaged, people that want to jump in, and help whenever they can. Paula was the person that was always there. We didn’t ever have to ask, and she was just amazing.”
