The Pella School Board reviewed the 500 series of policies at their meeting on Monday. The board received an overview of the district’s handbook changes. A review of changes to the activities department was also held as it related to formalizing the creation of middle school baseball. One action item was scheduled: a contract with Training Wheels Drivers Education, which was approved. At the beginning of the meeting, the board received comments related to the hire of the new superintendent. Board President Elisa Klahsen said that no members of the board would comment on matters not on the agenda or related to personnel at meetings.
