The Indianola School Board has set its date for a public hearing regarding playground updates at Whittier Elementary School. The hearing is scheduled to take place at the school board meeting on March 3rd. Superintendent Tara Paul says that they will listen to public comments, before selecting a bid from a company to complete the project.

“We will have that and then we will look at the bids that came in, so those are going out to bid today. They will look at those bids and hopefully accept one at the next board meeting. There aren’t very many people around in the area that do turfing. That kind of limits how many people can do that and mobilize to get a smaller project like that.
