The Marion County Commission of Veterans Affairs announced a new event for all veterans called “Comrade Coffee.” The debut will be held on Wednesday, February 18th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Pierschbacher Event Center, 308 West Main St, in Knoxville. Coffee will be provided by the Veteran’s Commission and Kwik Star will provide an assortment of pastries. The gathering will have no agenda or program, and is meant solely to facilitate fellowship and encourage information sharing among local veterans. No reservations are required.
