The Class of 2026 will get its sendoff from the Pella basketball teams in the final regular season doubleheader of the winter this evening. The #4 in 3A Pella boys and the Dutch girls welcome Dallas Center-Grimes to wrap up the Little Hawkeye Conference winter slate and to celebrate senior night.

Pella’s boys are attempting to claim at least a share of the league title this winter, currently tied in the standings with Norwalk, who is at Oskaloosa this evening. The Dutch snapped a seven-game losing streak against the Mustangs in the January 16th matchup in a 53-46 victory.

It’s a potential regional final preview now for the Dutch girls after the bracket release by the IGHSAU yesterday placed the green and white with #2 in 4A DCG in the same postseason bracket. While Pella’s girls have won five games in a row, they haven’t toppled the Mustangs since 2019.
