The Pella Opera House will welcome the Dove Award-winning band Sidewalk Prophets to the stage on Saturday, March 7th.

Sidewalk Prophets is a contemporary Christian music band that released their first album in 2003, and have had five number one songs and nine top five radio singles since that time. The band is a mainstay within the industry, amassing more than 240 million career on-demand streams, 1.88 million digital tracks sold, and 82.4 million views on YouTube. Pella Opera House Executive Director Cyndi Atkins says she is excited to be a part of the band’s tour, “An Acoustic Evening with Sidewalk Prophets”.

“What they’re doing in their sets, is it’s the four of them and their voices, instruments just to support their voices. They’re not performing in an auditorium with 15,000 people. It’s in our theater, which is an intimate 300 seat theater, where they can really be personal with the audience and talk about their message, their music, as well as singing their songs. You’re just able to really hear what’s being said.”
