The Indianola boys basketball team shot the ball extremely well in an 80-49 lopsided victory Tuesday night in Indianola heard live on 94.3 KNIA. The game was highlighted by nine made three-pointers. The Indians had the lead from the jump to the final whistle. 

In the first quarter, missed shots were coming few and far between as the Indians put up 25 points in the opening frame including eight points from Junior George Blake. Transition basketball and unselfish basketball was the theme for the Indians all first half with Senior Jakob Graham feeding Blake for finishes at the rim to get him to 18 first half points. Meanwhile, Senior Bryant Ritchie hit four of his five threes in the game, in the first half. 

Indianola led 46-26 going into the third quarter and Head Coach Jeff Ebling played a deeper bench for a majority of the second half. This energized the Indian faithful as Seniors Landon Olson, Isaac Erickson and Brooks Paugh all hit three pointers. George Blake finished with 24, followed by Bryant Ritchie with 17. The Indians had ten different players score tonight in the 80-49 win, marking the first time the Indians have hit 80+ this season. 

The Indians travel to Bondurant-Farrar tomorrow night to close out the regular season.
