The Indianola Noon Lions sponsored the Indianola area elementary school’s Presidents’ Day flag presentations for a 35th consecutive year. Noon Lions Active Member, Patty Alexander says it’s an opportunity to teach these kids more about American history and what the flag truly represents. 

“It’s fun for them to share and show us how much they know that the flag is red, white and blue. They don’t always know the colors are significant., and they were shown for a special reason. That hopefully inspires them to do their best and to be proud to be born in America.”

Alexander mentioned she already is looking forward to next year.
