A New Virginia man is accused of possessing more than a dozen images of child pornography. Thirty-five-year-old Gregory Thomas Saxton is charged in Clarke County twelve times with purchase or possession of a minor in a sex act, each a Class D felony. Court records indicate that Saxton is accused of possessing both real and AI-generated images. Other media reports claim that Saxton acknowledged that he had viewed child pornography during a job interview with the Warren County Sheriff’s Office. Saxton posted bond, which was set at $65,000. The case is being handled by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.
