
The Marion County Board of Supervisors will consider an opioid committee proposal at their regular meeting today.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is seeking $6,000 in funding to implement a Peer Recovery Support Services (PRSS) program for individuals impacted by opioid use disorder. Also at the meeting, the board will consider a zoning map ordinance, an SBC Enterprise site plan, set a public hearing date for the FY27 maximum property tax levy, and consider authorizing bids and setting a public hearing for the Knoxville Area Pavement Rehabilitation Project. The meeting will close with the board discussing employee benefit plans.
Today’s Marion County Board of Supervisors meeting will start at 9:00 am at the County North Annex.
