The Pella School Board approved a career and academic plan at their meeting on Monday. The policy outlines career planning for students and what to track among those who will graduate from 5th to 12th grades. Additionally, the board approved a 2027 orchestra trip proposal to Philadelphia and New York City and a memorandum of understanding with the City of Pella for the new EMT class at the Career Academy of Pella. A second reading of changes to the 500 series in the District Handbook was also scheduled and advanced. Additionally, a public hearing was scheduled for Tuesday, March 24th at 5:30 p.m. for a proposed tax notice.
