The Greater Newton Area Chamber of Commerce will host the organization’s second Business and Community Expo Saturday in the Hotel Maytag Ballroom. Greater Newton Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Kaylea Marchant says the goal of the free event is to share all the things that Newton has to offer, with new and longtime residents.
“Really just trying to find a way to connect our business owners to the community. We have had an explosion of new homes and new residents, and we are trying to find a way to fill the gap on what’s going on in Newton and where can I find the information.”
For businesses, Marchant says the Expo is a great opportunity to promote new products, services, or special offers, as well as make connections with other businesses and potential customers.
Saturday’s Greater Newton Area Chamber of Commerce Business and Community Expo in the Hotel Maytag Ballroom will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Last year’s inaugural expo was held in August at Berg Middle School.
