The Knoxville School Board has set a public hearing for the district’s proposed budget.
The public hearing will be on March 23rd before the regular session board meeting and there will then be a subsequent hearing for the budget adoption on April 13th. This is an opportunity for citizens to voice their concerns or any questions regarding the certified budget. Business Manager Craig Mobley says this is all part of the certified budget process.
“There is really within that process two public hearings that we have to hold and the first public hearing has to be its own separate special meeting of the board so we scheduled a special meeting for Monday, March 23rd at 5:30 here at the business office and the regular meeting that day will immediately follow the special meeting.”
The meetings are located at 418 S Park Lane Drive in Knoxville.
