Several KNIA/KRLS area football players are set to compete in the 2026 Iowa Shrine Bowl, and earlier this week, those athletes were recognized at the Altoona Za-Ga-Zig Shrine.

The following local football players accepted invitations to play in the All-Star Showcase that also raises funds and awareness for Shriner’s Hospitals for Children, and were in attendance at this past Wednesday’s event (pictured above):

Brecken Ritzert, Pella Christian
Koltt Ahn, Newton
Jamison Ewing. Southeast Warren (not pictured)
