
Four players on the Pleasantville boys basketball team have earned all West Central Conference honors.
Junior Braylon Bingham received first team unanimous honors. Bingham continues to be one of the best players in all of Class 2A and impressed again in his junior season. The four sport star athlete for the Trojans who will be playing college football at the University of Iowa finished the season averaging 21.8 points per game, 8.3 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.7 steals. Bingham also broke the school record for career field goals and has now surpassed 1,500 points for his career in three seasons.
Freshman Drake Elliott earned second team honors. Elliott had a breakout freshman season as he averaged 12.7 points per game. Nolan Fichter and Trindon Phipps both earned honorable mention honors. Fichter was the conference leader in assists and sixth in all of class 2A. Phipps averaged 10.4 points, 4 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game.
The Trojan boys ended their season with a 14-9 overall record and will just graduate two seniors.
