The Knoxville Chamber of Commerce will hold their annual meeting on Thursday, March 26th.
The annual meeting will be from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Pierschbacher Funeral Home and include a cocktail reception, dinner, and award program. The cost to attend is $10 and is open to members, their employees, guests, and non-members. Pre-registration is required. The chamber is also currently accepting nominations for the annual awards that are presented at the meeting, which include the business impact award, community impact award, and rising star award. The awards are meant to celebrate outstanding businesses, individuals, and organizations who help make Knoxville a great place to live, work, and do business. Knoxville Chamber Director Megan Bennett says the event is also an opportunity for non chamber members to see what the organization does along with how chamber members support the community.
“This gives people the opportunity to attend and really see what the chamber does and the impact we can make on the community, but we are only able to do that with the support of our members so the more members we have, the more ways we can help.”
Those wanting to nominate a business or individual that have had an impact in the community can do so using this link. Hear more about the event from Bennett on an upcoming Let’s Talk Knoxville.
