Indianola Municipal Utilities (IMU) reported that they had a successful 2025, when the board of trustees presented their annual report Monday. IMU General Manager Chris DesPlanques says that they achieved all of their goals and that he is looking forward to what the next fiscal year brings.

“We were both excited to provide a lot of great news. To anybody that saw a little bit of detail on our revenues, expenses and balance sheet detail out of that. This was mostly related to our fiscal year 2025 audit. It showed another strong financial performance.”

IMU also announced they had officially paid off the $12,000,000 loan they took out to establish eight years ago.
