The group tasked with representing the Pella community ahead of the annual Tulip Time festival is nearly ready to debut to the public.

Tulip Queen Kenzie Kanis says she’s excited for everyone to see their performance to promote the upcoming celebration.

The public debut of the Tulip Queen and Royal Court will be on Tuesday, March 24th at 7 p.m. at the Pella Opera House. In addition to Queen Kenzie, the court includes Riley Braafhart, Addie Van Arendonk, Abbie Brand, and Lexi Terpstra. They’ll make more than 20 public appearances between the 24th and the 91st annual Tulip Time May 7th through the 9th.
