The Warren County Board of Supervisors met in a work session earlier this week and one of the first items discussed was the fuel tank removal cost sharing agreement. The City of Indianola’s City Manager Jake Meshke and Public Works Director Eric Stevens came in to discuss the land and give an overview and history of the fuel tanks. The board agreed to place the consideration of up to $8,500 to go to the city for the fuel tank removal cost, although it wasn’t nearly as interested in creating an agreement.
