The Indianola Noon Lions will be holding their sixth annual Meat Raffle on Saturday, April 11th. The raffle will feature hundreds of items of meat and have the potential to win up to 75 pieces of meat. Active Indianola Noon Lions Member Rick Wilson says attendees will want to bring cash to buy raffle tickets throughout the night.
“There’s different rounds. We spin a wheel and a number comes up. Of course, prior to each round you sell tickets for it. They may be a dollar. You know, you might be able to buy five tickets for three dollars or something like that. Then, we have two major rounds in there where there’s like 100 products of meat out there, and we get our meat from Fareway and HyVee.”
The event is set to be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Pastoral Center in Indianola. Tickets can be bought from any Noon Lions Member or at Avitt Family Chiropractic. Hear the full interview on today’s Let’s Talk Indianola.
