The Indianola Noon Lions will be holding their sixth annual Meat Raffle on Saturday, April 11th. The event benefits several different student-based organizations, as well as businesses in town. Active Indianola Noon Lions Member Rick Wilson says one of the foundations of the Lions is helping others in town.
“It’s an event that we try to make fun, and we get a lot of information out to those that attend. I mentioned some of the events that we support here. We got a lot of it going to student activities that we have, our Leader Dog program in the state of Iowa, and of course scholarships. We support a lot of other events and charities here in the community of Indianola.”
The event is set to be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Pastoral Center in Indianola. Tickets can be bought from any Noon Lions Member or at Avitt Family Chiropractic. Hear the full interview here.
