After five years as Principal at Pella Christian Grade School, Ben Dirksen has announced that he will be leaving next school year to assume the same role at Chicago Christian School’s Oak Lawn Campus. 

Dirksen said that he is grateful for his time at Pella Christian, and for the people he has gotten the opportunity to work with. Ben added that he is thankful for all of the families that chose to send their students to Pella Christian.

“I came in as a teacher, who was a brand new administrator, and I’m leaving maybe a little bit better than I was when I came, I know I’m a lot better than I was when I came. But you have stood beside me, you have supported me, you have been in my corner as I’ve learned and I’ve grown, and you allowed me to play a meaningful part in the lives of your children.”
