The Knoxville City Council set a date for the sale of bonds for the new public safety/city hall building at their meeting Monday.

The approximately $17.8 Million in general obligation corporate purpose bonds will be for the new building and the streets improvement project. The council set the bond sale for Tuesday, March 24th and that was the only agenda item on Monday’s Knoxville City Council meeting. The new building will break ground this spring.
