IMPACT Community Action Partnership provided over $437,000 in assistance to Marion County residents for Fiscal Year 2025.

An update was given at the last Marion County Board of Supervisors meeting regarding IMPACT’s contributions to the county. A majority of the $437,393 in assistance was for the non-profit’s home energy assistance program and weatherization of homes to be more energy efficient and safer. According to the report given by IMPACT at the meeting, 16.77% of Marion County residents are living below the federal poverty line, 21.75% of children in Marion County are living in homes below the poverty line, and 37.57% of residents are housing cost burdened.
