Spring turkey hunting in Iowa will open on April 10th and tags are available at the Marion County Recorder’s Office.

Turkey hunting season in Iowa will start with the youth season April 10-12 followed by four seasons of gun-bow. Season dates listed below:

Season One – April 13-16

Season Two – April 17-21

Season Three – April 22-28

Season Four – April 29 – May 17

The spring archery only season will be held from April 13 – May 17. Hunting licenses are on sale now at many local retailers and you can purchase tags by stopping in to your local Recorder’s Office. More information on turkey hunting in Iowa including regulations can be found here.
