Eric Isley has taken over as head coach of the Pleasantville girls track and field team for the 2026 season.
Isley previously served as an assistant under former head coach Aaron Fichter who was the head coach for several years. Isley also took over the Pleasantville cross country team this past fall after also serving as an assistant coach in that program. Isley says the program has strong numbers this year and he is looking forward to his opportunity to work with a team that has strong potential.
“I’m really excited for the group. There are 30 girls out which is awesome for a school our size. There are a lot of different event specific groups that are up and going and learning and growing and getting better everyday so I’m excited for that growth throughout the season and see what we can do competitively by the end of the year.”
The Pleasantville girls track and field team will start their outdoor season on March 31st at Davis County.
