The transition of leadership continues in the Pella Community School District to a new leader. New Pella Superintendent Dr. Kyle Koeppen and his family had some help moving into their new home on Friday, as district administrators, teachers, and a school board member lended a helping hand to unload moving trucks. Koeppen’s children will start in the Pella School District on Monday for the final quarter as he finishes up work in Vinton-Shellsburg. He’ll be making a few visits back to the school district in April, which includes a formal dinner with the Pella School Board. Koeppen is slated to start his role as lead administrator on July 1st, although the transition will begin in earnest once classes are dismissed at both districts.
