The Indianola girls track & field team continue practice in preparation for the 2026 outdoor seasons. The Indians lost some key members of their running events from last year, but also return lots of experience. Indians Head Coach Morgan Singleton says she is excited about the girls that are coming back out to run this spring.
“We have a lot of returners. We lost some great experience with several of our seniors last year, but I feel like we have a lot of people coming back and ready to go. Kendal Sandy, Emma White, Madison Grover being some middle distance. They are kind of icons for us. On the distance side, Ady Mason is back. Paige Hoger is back. On the sprints side, we’ve got Hadley Vetter coming back as a strong sprinter for us.”
The Indians girls placed 4th in Class 4A at the 2025 state meet with 52 team points. Indianola competes in their first outdoor meet at the Simpson High School Classic on Monday.
