The Pella School Board is holding a public hearing about the proposed tax notice on Tuesday. It’s the second meeting in a row the session will be held a day later than usual.

The notice was part of what was mailed to property taxpayers in Marion County. The regular meeting will follow, which includes discussion about the certified budget process and the scheduling of a public hearing for April 13th to approve it.

The budget guarantee resolution is also on the agenda, which is a one-year offset of funds due to declining enrollment. Course proposals for the 2026-27 school year are also on the agenda.

Tuesday’s Pella School Board meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Pella High School Library.
