Representative Brooke Boden has been working to focus on supporting teachers and strengthening classrooms in this year’s Iowa Legislature. Earlier in the session, Boden introduced House File 2306, which focuses on strengthening communication and clarity for teachers working with students who have Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 plans. There were provisions from HF 2306 that were eventually planted into a larger classroom behavior bill considered by the House this year.
