The Knoxville Racing Charitable Organization is seeking groups to sell 50/50 raffle tickets at Knoxville Raceway this season.
KRCO is looking for 501(c)3 groups, clubs, sports teams, or organizations that want to sell these tickets on race nights at the Knoxville Raceway to earn a donation for their cause. Selling these tickets consists of walking the grandstands and is a way to support your own organization while also raising money for driver safety.
KRCO raises money to provide insurance policies, safety equipment, and donations to injured drivers. They are a 501(C)3 non-profit organization, and with the help of the Board of Directors and many volunteers, provided insurance for drivers totaling over $25,000 last year. With the sales of the 50/50 tickets, they donated close to $92,000 in safety equipment and medical expenses to injured drivers in 2025. Over $128,000 was given in prize winnings to fans and over $37,000 was donated to community organizations. KRCO President Brooke Nott says the 50/50 sales not only support driver safety but also benefit many local non-profits and teams.
“Those groups that are selling for us also get a donation at the end of the year to help their organization, maybe do grants for other people throughout the year, buy new things for their sports, new uniforms, new basketballs, just new things for their groups that they can fundraise for.”
Those interested in selling 50/50 tickets are asked to contact krcosprints1@gmail.com. Races are held Saturday nights.
