
The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in a special session Tuesday regarding the county property tax levies, before holding their regular session.
Several citizens gave public comments regarding property taxes for FY27 during the special session. In the regular meeting, the board held a public hearing and approved two agenda items for a 28E agreement and disposal of real property with the City of Knoxville, held a public hearing and approved the adoption of the Marion County 2040 Comprehensive Plan, held a public hearing and approved a resolution for the road department office building, and held a public hearing and approved a contract for the Knoxville Area Pavement Rehabilitation Project.
