The Indianola girls golf team will have new faces in the varsity lineup as the Indians graduated five of their top six golfers from a year ago. Head Coach Rita Doane says Senior Alexa Inman will be looked at as a leader for this inexperienced Indians squad.
“I have Alexa Inman coming back, who ended up shooting the best score at the state meet and ended the year well. The rest of my team I don’t believe have any varsity meet experience, so that’s going to be something new. I have about three freshmen that I expect to be fairly decent.”
The Indians begin their season Monday, April 6th with a home dual against Des Moines Roosevelt.
