William Kisling plead guilty to a lesser charge in Marion County District Court Thursday after he was arrested for making terroristic threats at the Knoxville Walmart in August.

Kisling was initially charged with threat of terrorism, a Class D felony, but pled guilty to the lesser charge of first degree harassment, an aggravated misdemeanor. After pleading guilty, Kisling was immediately sentenced and received a deferred judgement and two years of probation.  He will also be required to pay a civil penalty and complete a physiological evaluation.

In August, Kisling was arrested after placing playing cards around the Knoxville Walmart with hand written messages threatening violence. Officers were able to identify Kisling and his vehicle  after video showed him exiting the store, entering a vehicle, and subsequently leaving the area. Deputies went to an address in Harvey, where they located Kisling.
