The Marion County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing for the Fiscal Year 27 budget on Tuesday, April 21st.

At the public hearing, any resident or taxpayer may present objections to, or arguments in favor of, any part of the proposed budget. The county has posted a notice of the public hearing and this notice represents a summary of the supporting detail of revenues and expenditures on file with the County Auditor. A copy of the supporting detail can be furnished upon request. County budgets are subject to protest and if  petition requirements are met, the State Appeal Board will hold a local hearing.

The hearing will be held at 9:00 am at the County North Annex. A look at the notice and proposed budget can be found here
