The Pella Opera House is hosting their first Pizza, Puzzles, and Pints event on Friday, April 17th.

Doors for the event will open at 5:30 pm and the competition begins at 6 pm. As part of the event, four person teams will race to assemble a 300-piece puzzle, while also consuming a large pizza and four pints of a beverage of the participants choosing. The first team to complete those tasks will win four tickets to the newly renovated Pella Cinemas and a gift certificate to George’s Pizza and Steakhouse. Pella Opera House Executive Director Cyndi Atkins says that the event is a great opportunity to bring people together.

“One of our goals this year was to meet our mission of providing more social opportunities for the community. And this one is a great social opportunity. What we’re finding is we’re having a lot of young people sign up for it, as well as a couple of older teams, but Pizza, Puzzles, and Pints is a competitive event.”
