After thunderstorms and a chilly Saturday kept the Dutch out of competition since Thursday, Pella has two spring teams resuming action on Monday.

The #11 in 2A Dutch girls soccer team, fresh off of a 2-1 win over #7 in 2A Bondurant-Farrar, will travel to #13 in Class 3A Ames. The two teams have never played, according to Bound, and the Little Cyclones had their first matchup cancelled due to weather. Varsity action is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Ames High School.

Pella’s boys tennis team, fresh off of another trip to the state meet, will begin their journey against Ballard. The Dutch were ranked #6 in Class 1A in the preseason coaches’ poll, and the Bombers are ranked #9. The match is set for 4:15 p.m. in Huxley.
