The long bus ride to Southwest Iowa may have been a bit taxing on the Pleasantville baseball team, as the Trojans eked out a 6-4 win in Bedford Friday night. A total of four pitchers threw for Pleasantville, with Collin Thomas notching the win, as he allowed just one hit and threw three strikeouts in his three-inning shift. Thomas was the only Trojan player to record multiple hits; slapping a pair of singles. Pleasantville will try and get some pep back in their bats today in a tournament hosted by Twin Cedars.
