Knoxville’s Streetscape construction is beginning this week. The detour signs are up and City Manager Harold Stewart says crews are mobilizing now, and plan to begin with deep sewer work, below the frost layer, on Robinson Street between Second and Third streets. Stewart says there are several points for communication on the project, including on the city’s website, knoxvilleia.gov as well as on KNIA/KRLS. Minutes of the bi-weekly meetings are available there, and the city is sending out flyers with water and sewer bills.
